A Note About Primary and General Elections:
March 5 is the Election for Durham’s School Board, as well as the partisan primaries for all local, state, and federal offices on the November ballot. While partisan primary elections determine which individuals will represent their party for a race on the November ballot, in cases where only candidates from one party have filed to run for office, the primary is the de facto election. That is the case with the Durham County Commissioner primary this year, where the 5 individuals who are elected in the Democratic primary will be the only candidates on the November ballot for the 5 open Durham County Commissioner positions.
MAKE A VOTING PLAN
