When & where are you voting? Early Voting in Ohio

What’s one thing you are excited about for your first vote? I’m so excited to get to finally vote for issues that I care about. For the past four years I’ve been volunteering to try to get out the vote, so it’s meaningful to finally get to do it myself!

How has your experience with Kids Voting Durham prepared you for your first vote? I have learned about the different voting methods, how to educate myself in order to make my vote, and what to actually do in the polling place.

What issues are most important to you this election? Reproductive rights, gerrymandering & tax increases

What characteristics do you most value in a candidate? Credibility, motivation, & ethical

KVD Program Coordinator Carolyn Kreuger adds: “Chloe’s enthusiasm and drive for civic engagement made her a fantastic KVD Civic Youth Leader, but also took her beyond KVD to being an activist and leader for so many causes she is involved in and to engaging others in KVD and civic engagement in general. Our neighbors in Ohio are very fortunate indeed to have such an engaged and motivated voter as part of their electorate, and I know Chloe is still inspiring others to vote and civic involvement!”
