Durham K-12 students can make their voices heard in the 2018 Elections by voting with Kids Voting Durham.  There are two ways kids can vote on the same candidates and issues as adults this week:

  • Online at www.kidsvotingdurham.org/elections using the Kids Voting Durham electronic ballot.  Online Kids Voting is available now through Election Day, November 6 at 7:30 pm when polls close.
  • At a Kids Voting booth at selection Durham precincts on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, from 2:30-7:30 PM.  Kids Voting partners are staffing voting stations at the Durham Cooperative Extension, South Regional Library, East Regional Library, Forest Hills Clubhouse, Parkwood Fire Department, and McMannen United Methodist.

Many thanks to the volunteers from MomsRising, Durham Youth Commission, Duke Energy Retirees, SoDu Parents Posse, Spring Valley Elementary Student Council, Durham 4-H, and Durham Cooperative Extension for running Kids Voting polling sites.

A Youth Candidate Guide, sample ballot, and other Kids Voting election information can be found at www.kidsvotingdurham.org/elections.

In 2018, Duke Pediatrics Roxboro Street Clinic and Durham Parks and Recreation My Durham Centers are also offering Kids Voting to their clients and program participants.

Make sure to check at www.kidsvotingdurham.org/elections on Wednesday to see the Kids Voting results and how thousands of students across Durham voted.

Every Vote and Every Voice Matters!
